NEGE (Núcleo de Estudos de Gestão / Management Research Unit) was founded in September 1999 at the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, Braga, Portugal.

The mission of NEGE is to promote and support management research according to the quality and ethical standards shared by the international community of management scholars.

NEGE is committed to the dissemination of management knowledge and to foster links with other management colleagues and research centres worldwide. While playing a proheminent role in the Portuguese community of management scholars NEGE also seeks to develop links with the business community.
